Dreadful Stay

The room key system did not work for the five nights of my stay. There was no hot water for three of the evenings. The GM of the property seemed clueless on resolving the issues. The staff was frustrated and treated guest rudely at times. Having to constantly wait to have someone open my room door was quite inconvenient. There were also security issues. They were not confirming. The stay was dreadful and the guests deserved better.

Amazing Value for a Ski Trip!

I spent a few extra bucks for a room upgrade. Very comfortable bed with lots of extra pillows. A mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker as well as paper plates, bowls and utensils. Sometimes it's the little extras that make a big difference! This is prime ski season so prices for accommodations are high. This hotel is walking distance to a huge shopping center with lots of restaurants (see my review for Vessels). Only a few minutes drive to all of the Park City ski resorts. This place was great, especially for the price!

Hotel refuses to honor IHG benenfits.

This hotel refuses to honor IHG benefits. As a loyal IHG customer, is is very disheartening to discover that the management of this hotel refuse to honor the benefits of the reward program. Makes me questions my loyalty to IHG>.

Poorly run

Last time my husband and I stayed here in 2017 they had issues. Furniture big, old, dark like a Best Western. Noisy a/c. Since we were going to be in Park City I called to see if perhaps they had remodeled. I was told "we've had a complete update." I have no idea what this woman was thinking. The lobby area and halls were new, the rooms were the same old bulky furniture, headboards were disintegrating, see.pics. We were just finishing a long roadtrip which included no less than 8 HIE in 4 states and they were ALL bright, new with appropriately sized furniture. On top of the room issues, the breakfast had issues. On Memorial day they had no orange juice(sign stated that they had run out) but even worse, there was no coffee(only decaf). This sign said the pot was broken. Seriously, a hotel of this size without a backup coffeepot?? If we are ever in Park City again we will not be staying here again

IHGService, Guest Relations Manager at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Park City, responded to this review

Hi Leslie F, I'm glad to have welcomed you again at our Holiday Inn Express San Jose Forum and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about your recent stay. Fresh, practical and efficient for simple, smart travel is what we aim to provide our guests and I'm sorry that we missed the chance to give you a positively memorable one. I'm sorry the room assigned was not up to your expectations. I understand they could use a good upgrade. We believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day is it fuels our body but I'm concerned we did not hit the mark. We care about your experience and note that your thoughts will not go unnoticed. I have shared your comments with local management, trust that they will take the necessary steps to improve our service. I hope that you give us a try next time and I'm sure it'll be better. Cheers, June A. Case Manager IHGService

Convenient location and plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity

The hotel was very clean and well run by the staff. Staff was pleasant and let me check-in early so I could put my bags in the room. Very accomodating. Breakfast was very good and well stocked with fruits and main course.
