Great property - can't wait to return

Just came back from a 4-night stay at Lodges at Deer Valley and think it was a really great choice. It was our first time staying at DV, rather than at Park City and I was initially concerned about it not being a ski-in-ski-out property. Wasn't an issue at all as transportation was super-easy via the shuttle to the DV base or the DV app to PC/Main Street. We stayed in a deluxe hotel room, which was very spacious and nicely appointed. Only recommendation would be to add wall hooks in bathroom and hallway to allow for the hanging of wet towels and ski clothes. Staff was professional, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Trip

The Lodges at Deer Valley was great. The facility and room were stylish and spotless. Loved the breakfast buffet. Skier shuttle was easy and timely! Spent a day touring Park City, after using the Deer Valley shuttle app - couldn’t be easier! Concierge Kaycee was so helpful with airport transport. We will visit again!!

Spectacular Stay

Recently stayed at the Lodges and it was a great experience. Rafael Delgado make the trip special for us and took the extra steps you expect from a hotel of this caliber. Highly recommend this place and Deer Valley.

Lot of Deferred Maintenance

Tons of deferred maintenance - took the staff over 90 minutes to remedy a fire alarm in the middle of the night, keeping (I assume) all guests awake. The fire department was able to fix the noise relatively promptly, however the lights (a hotel maintenance issue) continued flashing for over an hour and a half). Compensation was $100 discount for losing a night of sleep, when we paid almost $700/night to stay. GM Anthony was condescending (I’m assuming because I’m 29, far younger than the average guest) and offered to “bump it up by ‘50 bucks’” his words verbatim, which frankly is insulting. This is clearly a case of an HOA that needs to spend a little more on maintenance. The heater in the rooms has a 3 degree threshold (set to 71 and it waits until 67-68 to kick on, and then heats to 72 before turning off) so the rooms are either too hot or too cold most of the time. Door to the main area was constantly stuck open letting cold into our hallway, elevators down, elevator fire door broken so we could access our floor after the debacle was over, etc. Other than the GM, most of the other staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and our view from our suite was STUNNING. Overall I suggest finding a newer property to stay at with a better maintained building.

I’m terribly sorry for the 6:00 am fire alarm on your final day at the Lodges. That we were not able to clear the emergency in a more timely fashion was a big disappointment to our entire. I can assure you where issues of guest and employee safety are concerned, we take a very serious approach. The alarm signal was valid, the delay in clearing the alarm signal was a matter of training not one of maintenance, and one which has been addressed. Ryan, you may have read in the other reviews posted on this site indicating that "the Lodges hospitality experience was absolutely perfect!". While this is exactly our goal with each and every guest, it is a difficult one to reach. In particular, there are issues that can arise which are beyond our control. And while that may be true, it is my sincere hope that issues of service and responsiveness should never be among them. I'm terribly sorry for the impression our offer of compensation has left with you. I kindly ask that when your travels call for our area in the future that you contact me directly. I would be delighted to over see the details of your next visit to ensure your 100% satisfaction and restore your every confidence in us. Excellent concierge service from Vanessa!

Vanessa helped me set up a surprise gift upon their arrival in our daughter & son-in-law's room. There were celebrating their first wedding anniversary. She was so kind & helpful, and they were so pleased with their gift!!

Deposit

A deposit equal to 1 night's lodging is due within 24 hours of booking. Final payment, including taxes and fees, is due 45 days prior to arrival. If reservation is booked within 45 days of arrival, full payment is required within 24 hours.

Cancellation

All deposits are non-refundable. Travel Protection Insurance may be added to your reservation if desired. Please call 800-558-3337 within 24 hours of booking to inquire about coverages and pricing.
