GREAT PLACE!

LOVED OUR STAY!!! Room 206 was fantastic (see our pics). Room was beautiful, clean, modern and rustic with the biggest bed. We slept like babies. The sliding glass door opened to a little area that had a snow man. Kitchen was great with everything you need. They had salt/pepper. A coffeemaker with coffee/sugar. The chimney is gas so no logs needed. They had books and one jigsaw puzzle. I would TOTALLY LIVE THERE! The parking was perfect/covered and they even cleaned that area. The lobby hosts were so NICE and helpful. The bus stop is right in front and the bus is FREE. We went to the Ice Castle (at Homestead Resort in Midway) and that was amazing! Hot chocolate and also did the sleigh ride with BERT the most beautiful black horse in the world $75 per couple at the Ice Castle check in. Stop at Lola's (in Midway) for a great hamburger and french fries w/garlic/parmessian. YUM!

False advertising

We just checked in. We booked a one bedroom room for us and kids. We are given a room with a den- the bedroom is missing a wall. This is false advertising. We got a room with a bedroom so we can have the kids go to sleep and be able to talk and watch TV. We cannot do this in this room that is basically open to the common area on one side. We were charged the same for this Unit as our friends who were given an a actual one bedroom unit. Terrible business. Of course they are unwilling to reaccomodate us.

Very Run Down

This hotel is very run down. Many things in the hotel and our room barley worked or did not work at all. The carpet was dirty and the furniture in our room was very worn and cheap to begin with. The whole hotel needs a major renovation. The only pro is the heated pool but there are 6 chairs in the whole pool to sit on and the pool area is run down also. The owner is putting as little money in this place as possible.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. The Sivler King consists of privatley owned units. The facility is owned by the owners of each unit. I apolgoigze that the Silver King did not meet your expectations. In addition we have pulled the talbes and chairs form the outside section of the pool due to the weahter/snow. ;Thanks again for sharing your comments with us.

Be careful of spa room #306

This deluxe 2 bedroom apartment #306 was supposed to be the highlight of a long road trip but was sadly the worst and most expensive stay of our trip. Reasons for not staying again The hot tub had dead bugs and sediment beneath the cover. The very old air conditioning unit was broken in the living/dining room so the spa created a very muggy situation. The living room window wouldn't open with the screen in so we had to take the dirty screen off to help with ventilation. There was a dirty black tank top left on the chair next to master bedroom bed along with a dead beetle. The master bathroom lights wouldn't turn off so the bedroom was all lit up while attempting to sleep. The blowdryer was broken. The main spa/pool was closed for cleaning so we weren't even able to enjoy a relaxing spa. The kitchen that we never used was clean. I left a list with all the things that needed to be fixed with receptionist and was told they were going to call me but they never called. She did mention that the spa rooms are normally muggy. Maybe they should mention that. I did get $50 off of $285 but it was a very disappointing experience. I sadly don't remember the room number and it's not on any of my confirmation emails.

It is a challenge with in room hot tubes in keeping the moisture out of the units since the hot tubs are not have individual air vents. Nonetheless, I am sorry that the unit did not meet your expectaions and will use your comments to better enhance the guest experience. Thanks again. Great room!

Very clean and attractive room at a reasonable price. Would definitely stay there again. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace added to the room. Very nice feature especially when the weather is cold.

Deposit

Winter (the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to March 31):

A lodging deposit of 20% is required 48 hours after booking. The balance is due in full 45 - 60 days* prior to arrival. All payments will automatically be charged to the credit card on file on the due date. If all deposits or payments due are not received by the due dates, the reservation will be considered cancelled under the terms and conditions provided herein.

*60 days for Christmas/New Years, Sundance, and President's holiday dates.

Summer (April 1 to the Monday before Thanksgiving):

A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Full payment is due 3 days prior to arrival.

Advance Purchase Nonrefundable Promotional Rates “Advance Purchase Nonrefundable” bookings require full payment at the time of purchase. No cancellations or refunds allowed with this promotional rate.

Cancellation

Winter (the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to March 31):

Cancellations made within 48 hours of initial booking are fully refundable. Cancellations between 48 hours of booking and 45-60 days* of arrival forfeit 20% deposit. For cancellations within 45-60 days* of arrival, all payments will be forfeited. Because our reservations are carefully scheduled in advance, no partial refunds will be made for late arrivals or early departures.

Summer (April 1 to the Monday before Thanksgiving):

There is no penalty for cancellations prior to 3 days of arrival; cancellations made within 3 days of arrival will forfeit 20% of reservation value. Cancellations made on the day of arrival will forfeit payment in full.
