Not true ski in ski out, everything was inconvenient

Perhaps I should’ve realized when our transfer driver mentioned they rarely bring families to this property and he’d heard since the property management was taken over by AirBnB that things had gone downhill, this trip was going to have challenges. The actual unit we stayed in was fantastic. Very well appointed-well stocked kitchen, plenty of room, super quiet and each unit has its own hot tub. Apparently very few owners rent their units and that’s where the problems start. None of the outdoor seating areas that tout fire pits worked, none of the housekeepers that serviced the unit we stayed in speak english which isn’t a problem because I speak spanish and could ask for housekeeping items they forgot, but if you didn’t you’re out of luck. One of the housekeepers told me he’d only been in the US two weeks. There was no one with him showing him what to do or to check behind. Not one day was the unit stocked properly. The owners in residence, while mostly very athletic, do not like renters in their community. Whomever was working at ck in has either never had customer service training or dislikes people and cannot be bothered by renters. Ski Butlers was absolutely fantastic, as always, meeting us in the locker room to fit us for our ski equiptment. The locker room was tiny, people were actually pushing others to get past them to their lockers at the end of the day. There was no attendant or boot warmers and this is the first “ski in ski out” in which we’ve stayed where you actually had to remove your skis and walk across a parking lot to get to the miniature locker room. When looking at properties in which to choose from, the property marketing material boasts it’s mid mountain and is surrounded by a shopping village. Apparently, the shopping is either out of business or never opened because the only retail is the ski shop and restaurant which you have to have a reservation for. Speaking of reservations, we’ve never been to a ski area where you couldn’t get dining reservations when every restaurant claimed to be booked but when we were able to talk our way in they were at least half empty. Obviously a wait staff problem. ZERO food delivery services were available also. Not impressed at all with Park City.

Great spot wonderful accommodation

We stayed here for a long weekend in February. Great spot . Ski lift from the front door is cool, the ski shop is very good with tremendous staff. Restaurant is great although we would have loved it open for breakfast (only open for breakfast/ brunch at weekends) The house was a 2 bed triplex and really nicely done, very well equipped Next time we will plan better and use the house to it’s fullest potential

Great location, luxurious accomodations

We stayed here over President's weekend for the long weekend and it was our fifth trip to PC. The condo was amazing - 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, hot tub on balcony, nice kitchen and family room, walking distance to the Silver Star lift and with a nice restaurant and ski shop on property. Highly recommend this property and would stay there again. You should know that the Silver Star lift however takes you to blues, not green runs. We were fine with that but if you have beginner skiers this might be an issue as you will need to use the shuttle which was always available when we needed it. Very sweet and attentive drivers also.

Not what I expected

A member of our group had seen the Guy Fieri "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" episode and convinced us we should go. I expected a slouchy place with great, possibly expensive, food. What we got was a cozy and nice bistro with ok food. Certainly not a cheap diner or dive. The food was fine but nothing I would go back to order again. The pork ossobucco was supposed to be a specialty but it was flat tasting with a really weird mix of coconut and corn. Silver Star is at the bottom of the Silver Star ski lift at Park City Mountain. It might be cool to go back at the end of a day to apres ski and grab a beer or cocktail and bar food.
