Thanksgiving Week Ski Trip

THE nicest staff and fantastic hotel. We stayed in a 1-bedroom king suite and it was a wonderful size for a family of 4. Loved having a full kitchen where we could whip up a late-night snack or some scrambled eggs in the morning before a day of skiing. Appreciated all the thoughtful touches in the room that many hotels don't have - large coat hooks for ski gear, flexible shower head when trying to shower with the kiddo and dimmers on lighting. Some other wonderful touches proving the Waldorf brand goes above and beyond - great espresso machine in room, filtered water in fridge, high-end stove, floor lighting in kitchen and bathrooms, nightly service offering turn-down, water, chocolates. Appreciated that the gorgeous spa is totally open and free to use for guests . . . I would put the kids to bed and run to the spa even if for 30 minutes of self-care/ pampering. My biggest complaint was that the gondola across the street did not work and only 1 run was open on the Canyons side of the mountain. We had to get on a shuttle every morning and afternoon to get to and from Park City Mountain side. This is the risk of coming early in the season when snow is uncertain. Coming early in the season means you may be seeing kinks being worked out as well as the hotel still being prepped for the start of its busy winter season. Unfortunately, there are no shops/ restaurants within walking distance but the hotel runs a shuttle to Park City Mountain/ Main Street every hour before 5:00 p.m. and every 1/2 hour after 5:00 p.m. (but make sure to call if you need a pick up from Park City).

Outstanding Service in Beautiful Setting

The grounds, facilities, and guestroom were all quite nice, as one would expect from a luxury hotel. But rarely have I encountered such outstanding service. From valet to front desk, restaurant to in-room dining, spa to housekeeping, everyone was friendly, thoughtful, and engaging. Special thanks to April, Steven, and Cory. Enjoyed meals at Powder restaurant. Tasting menu offered surprisingly good value for the caliber of food and service.

I very nice stay

We went to this hotel for our 25 anniversary. The staff was wonderful and went out of there way to make our stay memorable. There was champagne and chocolate covered strawberries when we arrived. They also sprinkled rose petal on the bed to add to the romantic atmosphere. It was a great stay and we will be back.

Perfect in every way

This hotel is amazing. The service and staff were hands down perfect in every way. I stayed in a bi level suite which offered 3 gas fireplaces, full kitchen with viking appliances, plus two full baths. Dinner at powder was excellent. The spa is divine. Spa staff members went above and beyond to make my time in the spa relaxing and wonderful. Sue was SO helpful and went out of her way to assist me. Aaron brought my bags to the room and was always eager to help. I will absolutely come back again and again.

Fall in Park City

great hotel but skip the restaurant if you're hungry. The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable and spacious. I wish there had been 2 restaurants because all they have is a fine dining resyaurant and it's just not very good
