Terrible experience terrible customer service worst I’ve ever experienced in my life

Very unhandicap friendly. No handicap parking make sure to be prepared to tip valet. Restaurants in resort don’t have true hours of operation. 2/3 pools were either out of order or being repaired** best part, I went to the office at 4am with concern of difficult breathing. Was given no help or guidance. Had to drive myself to hospital which was 20 min away. When I returned to the resort at 9am I called to ask to extend the checkout since I was in ER all morning and was told they can’t extend checkout but would be happy to hold the bags in the lobby. I can’t put in words how disappointed I am in how I was treated and taken care of during a medical crisis. Fu*k this place with everything I can say. I’m going to do everything I can at this point to cancel this Westgate garbage.

It was good, but not great...

I arrived on Sunday Sept. 29th to check in even though we would not use the room until Thursday so we would have a better availability of room selection. Check-in was great, however as I entered the resort from the parking garage it looked like a run down place. I rode the elevator to the 9th floor and got off of. As I exited there was a musty smell in the hallway that smelled moldy and old... I walked to the end of the hall to my room and as I entered my room I felt it smelled like old broccoli. The smell was strong. I left and returned on Thursday afternoon to find the resort smell exactly as when I was there on Sunday. My wife and I both were surprised by the odor, but as we spent a few minutes in the room we got used to it. The room was comfortable and clean, we enjoyed our stay there. Minus the odor and the unwelcoming first impression coming in from the parking garage we enjoyed the resort. We did not eat at the resort but heard others say the food was good there. I will probably try to book at the Marriott resorts in Park City when We go back, but if they are full, The Westgate could be a secondary option.

Very nice resort

As Westgate owners in Las Vegas, we traded into Park City for first time visit. Resort itself is very nice, tho furniture in room was showing wear. When asked about accommodations after a couple of nights, we mentioned bed was worn out & we were given a new mattress that day & it was much better. Full kitchen is very nice for staying in for easy breakfasts each morning. Steam shower was wonderful to have in room, along with huge jetted tub to warm your bones at the end of day. Fireplace in living room not only warms the room but provides great ambiance. Parking garage was convenient, but would be crazy during peak seasons. Full 18 hole golf course is beautiful & challenging.

Always a pleasure

The Westgate is a lovely resort and we always enjoy our stays. We live in the mountains in Colorado and it’s an easy trip to Park City when we want to get away. We’ve stayed at the Westgate numerous times over the years and it’s always a favorite. We often invite our grandkids over for a day and we all have a great time in the pool area and the arcade room. The restaurants on site are fabulous - honestly, the best burger EVER is at the pub. Their spa is glorious. They updated their exercise facility so that’s nice too. Only complaint ... they used to keep the yoga studio open for guests to use between classes and now they lock it. It’s a nice space for some quiet mat work.
