Labor Day Weekend Retreat

After a summer of surgery and recovery it was a fun experience to get away. We experienced rest, fun, and adventure at Marriott's Mountain side. We stayed in a two bedroom Villa that was more than comfortable for all of us. The views, pools, and especially the hot tubs are amazing at this resort. My family is looking forward to another trip.

Mountainside has much to offer outside of ski season!

Although we own at Mountainside, we now usually go shoulder season, and have been fortunate to have great weather for hiking in and around Park City, including right out the back door of Mountainside. The pool and hot tubs are great and they they usually have one hot tub reserved for adults. The staff is outstanding, very welcoming and helpful. We actually have spent a week at Mountainside in late Spring of the last two years and have had lovely weather. Even at the trails reached by the chairlift at Sundance, the snow has not been a problem. However, last year we just barely made it to Mirror Lake, which is about an hour from Park City, and has snow blocking roads much later than in Park City. The concierge (sorry, do not have her name) actually drove up there after work to see if the roads were open yet as reports were iffy. It is beautiful, so recommend it highly. The staff at Mountainside all contribute to making a memorable stay. They have many special programs for children, a Memorial Day BBQ, and quite a few special tastings and other activities for adults as well. When we used to ski, it was an amazingly easy way to hit the slopes. Now we just enjoy the hiking, the many restaurants and the beautiful surrounding countryside, and Salt Lake City.

Great location for Park City, Utah

Stayed at Mountain Side for two nights. Pool and Hot tubs were very enjoyable for our kids. Villa was clean and well maintained. We surely be back to Mountain Side in the Near future. Several good restaurants need the Resort and a short distance to those in the town of Park City

Great location but...

No views. The rooms are a good size, the location is nice, but when we were in town it seemed like there was construction everywhere. Many restaurants closed for a few weeks. This facility has 6 buildings that share a pool/health facilities. Our room was as far from the pool as we could get, opted out. There are some nice fire pits and bbq grills around the complex, unfortunately the fire pits were getting cleaned up and roped off. I’m sure it’s luck of the draw they have to get cleaned eventually; the had pretty sparkling glass stones in them. Our biggest disappointment was that none of the rooms can really view anything but the adjacent buildings. WiFi signal was quite good!
